TiSUN adds spice to the solar sector

TiSUN adds spice to the solar sector

TiSUN solar systems were recently installed on the roof of the most modern spice factory in Europe. This important project further strengthens the company’s position among the leading manufacturers of solar systems. In recent years, having manufactured more than 250,000 m2 of collector surface
space – corresponding to an energy capacity of more than 70 mil. litres of oil –TiSUN has established itself in the uppermost tier of Austrian manufacturers. With one of Europe’s most modern manufacturing facilities TiSUN is setting its sights on expansion. The 30,000 m2 - large production area has a capacity to produce 150,000 m2 of collector surface space annually. “More and more people invest in solar energy because of the exploding prices of fossil fuels. Within 20 years in countries throughout Europe, at least 20 % of all heating energy consumption will be provided by solar energy. In order to handle the rapidly increasing demand, we are expanding our facilities.” CEOs Arnold Teufel, Gerhard Schwarz and Robin Welling are all of one mind: “With our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, research and development centre, seminar rooms, visitor and service areas and sufficient reserves to enlarge upon, we are in the best possible position to meet the future.”

The same strategy was valid for MOGUNTIA. The new hi-tech production complex of the spice factory in the Austrian Tyrol is one of the most modern in Europe. MOGUNTIA employs a high level of automation in the entire material flow. The use of innovative technology in all areas is part of the corporate philosophy of MOGUNTIA. So that’s why the best solution for warm water supply could only be a TiSUN solar system.

TiSUN large flat collectors deliver warmth for solar hot water and heating. "You can save up to 110 litres of fuel oil per square metres – or even the comparable amount of gas or electricity“, explains TiSUN Managing Director Arnold Teufel. The company has increased the efficiency of its collectors by 20 % and at the same time reduce mounting time and costs by half. A performance that convinced even Europe’s leading manufacturer of spice to chose TiSUN. MOGUNTIA manager Frederic Tobien comments: "With our new large flat collectors we save about two thirds of energy expenses for warm water heating and considerably reduced our reliance on fossil fuels."
"Our large flat collectors turn every roof into a thermal power station that offers an utilizable energy receipt of 95%“, explains TiSUN Managing Director Arnold Teufel. The sturdy weather-resistant construction enables the collectors to work efficiently even in extremely harsh conditions. Our systems have a long service life estimated to exceed 25 years. „With more extreme weather conditions expected in the future
due to the changing climate, we chose a TiSUN solar system for this reason“, concludes Frederic Tobien.
